Like the first day, we came out here, it was an early day. We were determined to get on the road and beat the traffic to get to LA on time and give ourselves more sleep than we have the previous days. However, on the way, we made a stop at Herts Castle. For those who don't know Hearts was one of the first media moguls and his house at San Simeon was turned into an art museum. However, that wasn't the reason that we went to San Simion was because of the film Citizen Cane. For all of us on the trip to our Freshman Seminar class, we had to watch and analyze Citizen Cane, which was a film making fun of William Hearts, the man who built the castle. Besides the stop at San Simeon, it was a long travel day but now we are getting into the thick of it in LA.
